Lions, Tigers and Bears! O' my!

We are accustom to seeing lizards, turtles, snakes, alligators and birds around here. After all, it is Florida!


One week out of the year we are treated to golfers with the reputations of ferocious animals. That is the end of February into the first week in March when PGA National hosts the PGA Tour's "Honda Classic."


This year was a special treat as Tiger Woods made his first appearance in the Honda.  Along with Tiger were the "young lions" on the tour like Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley and Rickey Fowler.


The entire event financially benefits Jack "the Golden Bear" and Barbara Nicklaus' children's medical facilities. 


Over 161,000 golf fans streamed through the gates. Rory McIlroy playing great golf beat out a surging Tiger Woods for the tourney win!

Seeing the Florida Keys - Connie's and John's Collection

On the road again!

 The first three days of our February vacation were spent on Conch Key. After that, we headed further South on the overseas highway to Key West.  Join us with our trail of photographs.

The old Seven Mile railroad, converted to automobile, bridge, 1912 - 1982.

 Mallory Square, where sunset is celebrated every evening.

A "bucket list" stop was Jimmy Buffets.
