The majesty of upstate New York !
The end of June found us journeying to upstate New York, our destination Lake Placid to visit Maura, John and Billy at their new home.
Enroute, we stopped at Carolyn and Rob's in Greene County in the Catskill Region, visited the Empire State Plaza and capital in Albany, drove on to the Adirondacks and Lake Placid. While there, we spent quality time with Maura, John & Billy, sat around the fire pit, went to the summit of Whiteface Mountain, took in an ice hockey game at the Herb Brooks Olympic arena, browsed the town of Lake Placid, and explored trails.
On our return trip, we stopped in Lake George and spent a night and day in charming Saratoga Springs. There, we visited the National Thoroughbred Racing Museum, Hall of Fame and Gallery, made an early dawn trip to the track and stables! Of course, we had our cameras all along the way.
Join our journey and enjoy ! This collection of photos were taken by both of us.
