Connie & Johnny - Recollections

Over the years, people have kept in touch with family and friends via visits, phone calls, cards, letters and more recently e-mails or text messages. We don't intend to abandon these ways of keeping in touch, However, we have come to the conclusion if we want to be on the same page as those close to us, i.e. our seven children, their spouses and the twelve grandchildren, we should launch a personal Internet blog where family and friends can see what we are up to. We've got a Winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last month, the PGA National Resort & Spa, held a promotion for their Ironwood Restaurant and I Bar Lounge.... Over a week period, daily patrons could enter a drawing for an Apple Computer I Pad....This promtion coincided with the much publicized global launch of Apple's I Pad..... For PGA National it was an association with or a play on words, i.e. I Bar and I Pad.... The PGA National campaign ran in the local newspapers and radio stations during the peak tourist season.

This week Connie received a phone call that she was one of the lucky winners. Last evening she was presented with her I Pad prize....
