A beautiful day for a stroll in Central Park

Sunday, October 9th, was simply a gorgeous day! Temperatures in the mid 70's to mid 80's, not a cloud in the sky. Due to all the late Summer rains we have had, it was a bit early for the appearance of the Fall foliage. Nature's beauty and people were in abundance.

Take the stroll with us from Columbus Circle to Belvedere Castle, passing the ponds and lake, taking in the bridges, fountains. monuments and people.

The globe at the intersection of Broadway, Central Park West and 59th Street, Columbus Circle.

The Time Warner Building, Columbus Circle.

Looking south toward Fifth Avenue and buildings, the Plaza Hotel on the right.

                                           The pond and bridge.

                     Plaza around Bethesda Fountain..

Bethesda Fountain and Angel of the Waters Statue.

The serenity of Central Park's various lake scenes.

The Great Meadow and softball fields

Belvedere Castle in area of 79th Street.

Now join us for the faces of the people that make Central Park so interesting

Hope you enjoyed!
