Journey to  Florida.......

Here with a pictorial review of our October 2012 trip from Island Park, NY to Palm Beach Gardens, Fl.  

The journey took us to Reston, Va., to Bryce Mt. Va., to Lewisburgh, W. Va., then, back to Reston, a morning at Great Falls, Va., then to Lorton, Va. for the Auto Train ride to Sanford, Florida and eventually, to Palm Beach Gardens.

The Fall foliage through Virginia and West Virginia was most colorful. The time spent with family and friends, despite the sad  occasion of Ed's 10/13  passing,  was quality time.

It was Ed Carey's wish, when we visited him in early September, that Connie and I visit Great Falls. 
We were happy to fulfill Ed's wish.

The ten day journey comes to an end!

Days 9 & 10......

From Tralee, we drove to Dungarvan.....  We stayed at the delightful Maple Leaf B&B where our host was Onra Fennell.

Heading home to the USA!

This completes our travel log covering ten days (9/1 - 9/22 2012) in Ireland. We took over 3,000 photographs.   All of which could not be displayed on this Blog.  What you have seen is representative of our trip and our wonderful experiences.
