Day 4
We arrived in Longford to be met at the Longford Arms by cousins Charlie Dunne and Oonagh O'Gara plus an invitation to afternoon tea from Mary &
John Finnegan.

Day 5
The cousins treated us at the wonderful Cottage Restaurant on the River Shannon, then to an afternoon boat cruise.
We made a visit to the Abbey ruins in Boyle where are great grandparents were married.
The day came to a close with a visit to the graveyard to pay our respects at the two Dunne Family memorial monuments.

Early Monday, Martin dropped by the Longford Arms for a cup of coffee/tea before we got on the road again. It was good to see and visit with Martin.
Adare in Co. Limerick was our destination, heading south......
You have a variety of roads and highways in today's Ireland.
We found "The Yanks"pub in Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary for lunch.
We reach the quant Village of Adare.

An excellent dinner where Pat Collins is the second generation proprietor.
The next day we toured Desmond Castle.
A very scenic sight !
