A week of sun and fun things in South Florida!

Kerri got away from the snowy Long Island Winter and spent a week with us in the sun and exploring Florida's Treasure Coast.

We started off by heading to nearby Juno Beach.

Pictures tell a million words, the whole week was beautiful.

Connie enjoyed the beach also.

The next stop was Juno's Loggerhead Marine Study Center where injured sea turtles are nursed back to the wild.  Always an interesting place!

This turtle had been damaged by a boat propeller.....

The next day we headed South to the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Area, visited a museum and took an air boat ride on the edge of the Everglades.  An experience to remember.

Kerri and a stuffed 18 foot gator.

Mr. Alligator enjoyed the sunshine..

Up close to what South Florida was like before Mickey, Mini and Donald!

A stop at the new 911 Memorial in Palm Beach Gardens.

That evening we had dinner a Jupiter's outstanding Guanabanas restaurant where the ambiance, menu and
wait service are all excellent and lots of fun.

Bringing her visit to a close, Kerri put on an apron and cooked dinner.

We all enjoyed one of our daily Florida happenings, dinner outdoors!

To top off a great meal Kerri gave Dad a surprise Tiramisu birthday cake!
