Connie & Johnny - Recollections

Over the years, people have kept in touch with family and friends via visits, phone calls, cards, letters and more recently e-mails or text messages. We don't intend to abandon these ways of keeping in touch, However, we have come to the conclusion if we want to be on the same page as those close to us, i.e. our seven children, their spouses and the twelve grandchildren, we should launch a personal Internet blog where family and friends can see what we are up to. School is out !

For the past eight weeks we have been enrolled in a Fine Art Photography "the art of seeing" class at Old School Square in nearby Delray Beach. We have enjoyed it thoroughly and have learned more than we might have expected.

The instruction, class subject matter, the homework assignments, photo shoots, and the weekly critiques have all helped us to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. We were taught to see people, places and objects differently than we observed in the past.

Now, until March 11th, photography of our's is hanging in the Delray Beach Library second floor gallery. Our photos were selected by our class instructors.
